Your video looks very impressive but I wonder how long the beautiful beach will last with the unpredictable temperament of the Forth tides. Can't wait for Morrisons to be built. It's been years in the thinking and planning and talking stages but I can't see Fife Council saying yes any time soon, due to the annual Links Market and the re-location of the travelling showmen. Has anybody mentioned where these people are going to place their mobile homes during the week long market? There are some enormous trucks so it will have to take up some size to accommodate them. Why not use a field in Invertiel like a proper caravan site with facilites and road layout and then rent out the spaces for the rest of the year to tourers or campers to bring income to the town? There are caravan parks either side of Kirkcaldy at Kinghorn and Leven so it's in the right place for one.

Building a Morrison is an excellent idea for numerous reasons:
Jobs
Aesthetics
regeneration
convenience for locals
Healthy competition
precurser for the hovercraft
promoting local businesses
General facelift to a previously thriving market town

Kirkcaldy council must surely see that this development is an asset?
or do they want to just lie down and buckle to opposition from other bigwig supermarket giants like TESCO?
instead of respecting the views of local taxpayers they would rather listen to company directors that probably dont even live in the country let alone the area, whose main interest is keeping the monopoly and continuedly boosting their financial coffers!
why should kirkcaldy residents be restricted to TESCO ASDA SAINSBURY and the german bros duo LIDL & ALDI?
and have to travel to other towns to shop at morrisons when there is a perfect and convenient location here!
I have spoken to many residents from kinghorn to the gallatown who are in favour of this development.
As seafield householders we can only see the benefits of morrisons coming to town!
BRING IT ON!

The artist's impression is a massive improvement on what is an eyesore. Why Fife Council are delaying getting things moving is beyond me. Hopefully this comes to fruition shortly.
